If you're dealing with chronic pain, stress, hormonal changes, digestive concerns, poor sleep, headaches, or simply don't feel like yourself, acupuncture offers a whole-body approach to supporting your health. Our licensed acupuncturists take the time to understand your history, symptoms, and goals before building a personalized plan for you.

Acupuncture is a therapeutic practice within Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that has been used for thousands of years. During treatment, very thin, sterile needles are gently inserted into carefully selected points on the body.
In TCM, points are selected according to patterns involving the body's systems, circulation, and the flow of Qi. Modern research also examines acupuncture's interactions with the nervous system and pain pathways — and here, treatment is always customized to your individual needs rather than a diagnosis alone.

— WHAT CAN ACUPUNCTURE HELP WITH

Traditional Chinese Medicine describes health through patterns involving Qi, Blood, Yin, Yang, and the body's organ systems. Points are selected according to these patterns to support balance within the body.
Modern research examines acupuncture through a different lens — its potential interactions with the nervous system and pain-processing pathways. We use both frameworks to determine which points and complementary therapies are right for you.
— YOUR FIRST VISIT
If you've never had acupuncture before, knowing what to expect can make
your first appointment feel much more comfortable.
Plan for about 90 minutes. We’ll discuss your concerns, health history, lifestyle, and symptoms to understand the bigger picture.
Your acupuncturist selects points based on your symptoms, needs, and treatment goals.
Once the needles are placed, simply rest. Many patients find acupuncture surprisingly relaxing—even first-timers.
Your acupuncturist creates a personalized Care Plan and Report of Findings (ROF), which you’ll review together at your follow-up appointment. Follow-up treatments are 60 minutes.
— NEW PATIENT VISIT
Every new patient starts with a visit built in two parts — a thorough
assessment, followed by your first treatment — so your plan is built around
you before a single needle is placed.
Part One
We start with a comprehensive review of your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, sleep, stress, and digestion — plus TCM diagnostic methods like pulse and tongue assessment. This is where your practitioner identifies the patterns behind what you're experiencing. Please allow 90 minutes for this session.
Part Two
Using what we learned in Part One, your practitioner creates a personalized Care Plan and Report of Findings (ROF), which you’ll review together at your follow-up appointment. You will receive acupuncture at both the initial and follow-up appointments. Follow-up treatments are 60 minutes.

— IN THEIR WORDS
— FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
People seek acupuncture for many reasons — pain, headaches and migraines, stress, sleep difficulties, digestive concerns, menstrual symptoms, fertility support, and overall wellness. Your practitioner evaluates your individual concerns before recommending a plan.
When performed by a properly trained, licensed acupuncturist using sterile, single-use needles, acupuncture is generally considered safe. Tell your practitioner about medical conditions, medications, and pregnancy status before treatment.
Acupuncture needles are extremely thin — very different from injection or blood-draw needles. You may notice a brief sensation on insertion, or heaviness, warmth, tingling, or pressure around certain points. Most patients become comfortable quickly and use the time to relax.
There isn't one schedule that fits everyone. It depends on:
1.) How long you've had the condition
2.) Whether symptoms are acute or chronic
3.) Symptom severity & overall health
4.) Your response to treatment & individual goals
Responses vary. Some people notice changes relatively quickly, while chronic or complex concerns may require a series of treatments.
Frequency depends on your condition, how long you've had symptoms, your health history, and your response to treatment. Your acupuncturist recommends a schedule after your initial evaluation.
Loose, comfortable clothing is usually best — your practitioner may need access to points on your arms, legs, abdomen, or back.
Yes. Many patients visit us for their first acupuncture experience. Your practitioner will explain what to expect and answer your questions before beginning treatment.
